Studies have shown that we are much more likely to accomplish our goals and objectives when there is a positive reward system in place.
But sometimes the default reward system that you create for ourselves rewards the wrong things. The problem is that sometimes the reward to which you gravitate comes with activities that are counterproductive. Sometimes you reward nonproductive time.
If, instead, you have a reward system that entrains your thinking to want the productive and creative activities, you are more likely to follow through on those activities that are in alignment with your goals.
It comes down to intention. If you choose to create a reward system that is intentional and focused on your goals, then you can influence your behavior toward things that serve you and feel good.
Helping you achieve your goals is my passion.
Look for the sabotaging rewards. Be intentional.
